Wednesday - Friday: 9am to 5pm
Saturday: 9am to 5pm

Archives Research

If you are interested in obtaining information from the Boissevain Community Archives please fill out the form below in as much detail as possible. An archives staff member will respond to you as soon as possible, but please be aware that there will likely be some delay in providing the requested information.

Staff time will be assessed at $10 CAD per hour of research. (For local residents of Boissevain & Morton, one hour of staff research per request will be conducted at no charge.) You will be advised of any possible costs, including nominal fees for copying or scanning, before they are incurred. Local residents and visitors may conduct their own research on site at no cost.

Barring restrictions on some archive fonds, archive material may be copied. However, the fonds and their contents are not available for loan outside the Library.

Please Note: The extent of the Boissevain Community Archives collection is limited to Boissevain and the immediate surrounding area. If the object of your research is not within this range we probably will not be able to help you and will advise you accordingly.
